Designs

Once the research was mostly wrapped up the team set about building out high-fidelity designs. We had two main goals for the design.

Modularity

We wanted to content to vary based on the user’s role, so having a modular structure that allowed for easily swapping content was crucial. To that end, we went with a card-based approach because it accommodates virtually any content and easily works within the grid.

Reliance on Standard Components

To ease development and maintenance we wanted to rely on standard Bootstrap components as much as possible.
