Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is refreshingly simple. I collect very little data and do not use any third-party services, with the exception of mail sending (see below).

I don’t use any analytics on this site. That’s right, no Google Analytics nonsense.
My firewall detects IP addresses but I cannot identify you from that and don’t collect any other data about your connection. It’s only used to prevent attacks and doesn’t leave the site.
If you choose to subscribe to my newsletter then I will collect your e-mail address. All newsletter information is stored locally and not shared (i.e., I don’t use a CRM or e-mail service like Hubspot, AWeber, Mailchimp, etc.).
Emails are sent via Mailgun, so your email address is sent through them for delivery. I do not store address lists or other information with Mailgun.
The server and its associated data are located in Singapore.

I do not sell or share your information with anyone and will not send “special offers” or other similar bullshit. Got questions? Hit me up via the contact form. Enjoy!

Most content on my site is licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0. You can read the full deed at the link, but in general, you can:

copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
remix, transform, and build upon the material

However, you must give credit, including a link to atomicbox.studio. Also, you can’t use my work for commercial purposes (this means you, AI grifters) and if you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

Some things may be subject to different copyright terms, but in all cases I’ll include the applicable license/terms at the bottom of the post.

AI and Content Policy

I do not use AI tools (LLMs, GenAI, &tc.) in any of the content on this site or published elsewhere. This includes proofreading, spellchecking, grammar, and so on. If you have questions or comments you can reach out to me via my contact page or on Mastodon.
